Taiany and Jeff were such a pleasure to work with. They were both so happy and excited for their wedding day and that happiness and excitement really came through in the photos. Taiany is one of those natural beauties, her smile radiated and was contagious. Jeff had that classic look in his two-toned burgundy and black suit. The wedding was held at Stonover Farm, a beautiful barn venue nestled in the Berkshires. The property was gorgeous and had many different elements to make for a variety of images. 

The day started with Jeff getting ready. He did so in a small house on the property, along with his mom, dad and brothers. 

Taiany was nearby in another cottage getting ready. She looked stunning in a lace dress with sheer sleeves, the perfect look for a fall wedding.

Taiany and Jeff decided to do a first look. Jeff's reaction was the type of reaction every bride hopes to get when her groom sees her for the first time. It was emotional and sincere and so beautiful to witness. 

Taiany was a super sweet and laid back bride. I really noticed just how easy going she was when the champagne bottle foamed all over her wedding dress. In a moment like this there are people who would get upset and people who would laugh. Taiany laughed which told so much about her.

The ceremony was held in on the barn ramp. It was a beautiful spot to get married. Taiany's dad performed an emotional ceremony for his daughter and her husband. 

The reception was held inside the barn. It was so beautiful and cozy feeling. String lights created a soft atmosphere, and greenery hung on the ceiling added a really romantic feeling. A great band kept the guests on their feet throughout the night.

Nicole and Bobby married one another at The Grandview, a beautiful riverfront venue in Hudson Valley. They planned a speakeasy themed wedding which was so much fun. Nicole put a big effort into hand making many details of the day, which made it even more unique. 

When Nicole arrived her father helped her out of the limo, making for a beautiful photo opportunity. She and her bridesmaids went to their suite for some final touched before Nicole and Bobby had their first look. 

Nicole and Bobby had a first look down on the boat docks on the river. Nicole had the best wedding attendant who took such good care of her and every detail, she helped us with access to the docks and do much more. 

The ceremony was held on the back patio outside of the tented area of the Grandview. Nicole and Bobby married one another under a beautiful arbor decorated with floral garlands. After the ceremony and receiving line, Nicole met some of her adopted mom's biological family for the first time. It was such a touching moment for Nicole to welcome in her aunts and uncles on such a special day.

Martin and Danielle were such a lovely couple to work with, and their wedding celebration was so uniquely them. They really wanted to host a weekend event where their friends and family could get to know one another, spend time doing things like bike riding or practicing yoga, and enjoy all that the Berkshires have to offer. The Race Brook Lodge was the perfect venue for that. The night before the wedding an Oktoberfest themed rehearsal dinner was held at Race Brook. Bratwurst and pretzels were served in honor of Martin's German roots, and Danielle fully supported him by making homemade German pickles with cucumbers grown from their garden. 

The next day Danielle was being pampered with her and Martin's daughters, as well as Danielle's matron of honor, her sister. Danielle looked beautiful and wore a satin dress that looked just classic on her.

Martin and Danielle decided to do a first look before their ceremony. Not only was it a beautiful, intimate moment, but it all worked out perfectly because we were able to get some lovely outdoor portraits before the afternoon rain came in.

The ceremony was planned to be outdoors but mother nature had other plans in mind. Luckily, there was a beautiful space inside the barn with large windows looking out towards the lush green forest. Before the ceremony Martin and Danielle left ribbons out for their guests to write well wishes on. The ribbons were then attached to a banner and hung alongside their arch. It was such a special touch to be surrounded by blessings from loved ones.

After the ceremony a cocktail hour was enjoyed in the barn. After that everyone headed next door to the tent where dinner tables were lined with bright flowers and flower seeds for taking home. 

After dinner the newlyweds made their way through a tunnel of sparklers back into the barn for dancing. They danced a choreographed first dance with one another, and then had tons of fun dancing the hora.

Tara and Harrison were such a fun couple to work with. I first met them both about a year before their wedding when we took engagement photos in Central Park. They were sweet as could be at our first meeting and again just as lovely on their wedding day. Tara was full of giddy smiles while Harrison was enthusiastic about every part of their wedding day. They both had the time of their lives on the dance floor, breaking it down with family and friends.

Both Tara and Harrison were getting ready at the same house but on different floors. It was really nice because I was there for full wedding day coverage and had the chance to spend a good amount of time with Harrison and his groomsmen getting ready, instead of rushing through the groom getting ready which tends to happen sometimes. I am glad I had the extra time because they had some beautiful wedding details that were handmade by the lovely bride herself.

There was a beautiful field of wildflowers just behind the house where Tara was getting ready. I gave her an option of wading into them for photos, thinking that she would politely decline, but she was all game! Her bridesmaids thought she was crazy but she turned to them and said, "I got this dress to get dirty and get beautiful photos, not to stay clean." I loved her laid back disposition to it all and she even convinced all her girls to join her for a photo in the field.

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Hill, a beautiful barn venue in Hudson, NY. The ceremony was set out on the lawn within a huddle of pine trees. A small window opened out to gorgeous views on the Catskill Mountains. The Hill is a working horse farm which really makes it fun for photos. 

Guests witnessed a beautiful and emotional ceremony as Tara and Harrison married one another. Their personal vows for each other were so touching, and had the perfect balance of seriousness and humor to them. 

Tara and Harrison were warmly welcomed into the cozy barn at The Hill. They immediately took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. The festivities continued with parent dances, speeches and dinner. After dinner the couple, along with their guests, took to the dance floor for non-stop, high energy dancing! They only paused for a moment for a very impromptu ice cream sandwich feeding.

Don't let the name fool you, the Mohonk Mountain House is nothing like a house. It is, in fact, a magnificent fortress like hotel with the most beautiful cliffs and waterway. Melinda and Scott knew that this would be the perfect place for their marriage to one another. 

The day started with Melinda getting ready with both mothers, her daughters and her flower girls. Melinda looked beautiful and was full of smiles. 

Scott was getting ready in another room at the resort with his son. Both he and Melinda were such nice, down to earth people. It was really such a pleasure being able to witness and document the love between the two of them.

A beautiful arch made by Scott and Melinda was set inside for the ceremony. What I really loved about their decor was the flowers at the entrance of the aisle, so that as Melinda walked down there were flowers behind her as well. During the ceremony the couple and all of their children performed a sand ceremony which was a really special touch.

The reception was in a beautiful open air building located on top of the cliffs. Round tables were set with sweet hydrangea centerpieces and twinkle lights hung from the ceiling. The newlyweds started the party off right with an impressive choreographed dance. The dance had spins, dips and lifts and they executed it perfectly. 

Just as the sun was setting we made our way out to the cliff tops to take some stunning portraits overlooking The Mohonk Mountain House. I love how Scott and Melinda had so much fun taking photos, they were just dancing with each other in the evening sun.

Oran and Brittany's fairy tale wedding was straight out of a story book. The venue was perfect, her dress was perfect, their love was perfect. The family and friends that surrounded them that day wanted nothing more but to celebrate and bask in the love that these two have for one another. And what a celebration it was. 

The day started with Brittany and her bridesmaids getting ready at the Glen Harbor Island bridal suite. The room was beautiful and great for taking photos. Brittany was easy going, fun to be around and a picture perfect bride.

The Glen Island Harbor Club has a picturesque park surrounding it and also borders the Long Island Sound. Inside of the park is an amazing stone castle which made the perfect backdrop for photos. Oran and Brittany decided to do a first look and I am so happy they did. The expression on Oran's face when he first sees his beautiful bride is priceless.

The ceremony space at Glen Island Harbor Club is the best of both worlds. It has a stunning view of the Long Island Sound yet the comfort of being indoors with air conditioning on a hot summer day. A traditional Jewish ceremony was carried out starting with the bride and groom circling one another and ending with the climatic smashing of the glass.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the water. 

Just before the reception started I pulled the newlyweds out to get a few more portraits as the sun was going down. 

A beautiful reception setup was ready as guests finished up cocktail hour. The bride and groom were cheered on as they made their grand entrance and took to the dance floor. Brittany's dress looked amazing as Oran twirled her around on the dance floor.

Claire and Ryan are a power couple. One of those couples that have it all together and that everyone secretly wants to be like. Their wedding was a perfect representation of who they are and their love for one another, it was just perfect.

Claire, her mom and a few girl friends were getting ready at a nearby house. She was truly a classy bride and looked stunning in her mermaid style bridal gown.

Just up the road Ryan was getting ready at their weekend home. The newlyweds bought this house together and worked on making it their own, which made it the perfect spot for their first look. Not only did it have sentimental value, it also had a beautiful lawn and forest area, which worked beautifully for photos. 

A beautiful chuppah was setup on the dock for Claire and Ryan. Friends, family and loved ones gathered around as the couple exchanged their promises of love and commitment with one another.

The reception was held in the boat house. Round tables decorated with florals and gifts of honey were scattered throughout the room.

Jon and Tara wanted to marry each other in some place different, an alternative wedding location. So they traveled from California with family and friends, all the way to Salem, Massachusetts. The vibe of Salem perfectly embodied what Tara and Jon pictured for their wedding, and photos in a historical graveyard topped it all off. 

The wedding was held at The Hawthorne Hotel, which is located just steps from the Salem Witch Museum. The hotel itself has an interesting history, which includes a handful of movies being shot on premise. The beautiful ballroom has high ceilings with long ceiling to floor windows, perfectly fit for a elegant wedding. 

Tara, her bridesmaids and a few family members were all getting ready in one of the rooms at The Hawthorne Hotel. Her color palette was purple and magenta, and she even matched her hair which was tinted a pastel violet grey. Her dress was a big princess style ballgown and it fit her perfectly. Tara made such a stunning bride.

Jon and his groomsmen met with me just before the ceremony. We ventured outside and across the street to get a few shots outdoors. I asked Jon's groomsmen to say something to make him laugh, I won't repeat what was said but they sure did a good job!

The ceremony was held in the ballroom at the hotel. It was a very chilly day so it was actually really nice being indoors. Large windows flooded the room with natural light. 

We walked just around the corner from the hotel to the historic graveyard. It was the perfect backdrop for this couple's portraits, and I am so glad they braved the cold to capture these.

While guests were enjoying cocktail hour and we were taking photos the amazing staff at the hotel switched the ballroom over from ceremony to reception. Beautiful violet up-lighting set the mood for the evening and purple hued centerpieces dressed up the tables. 

Tara and Jon received a roaring welcome as they entered into the party as Mr. and Mrs. They immediately took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.

Aaron and Urmi were such a pleasure to work with. They are both such sweethearts and so easy going, it is impossible not to get along with them. The couple held their wedding ceremony at St. Mary's Church in Kingston and then the reception was held nearby at La Mirage in Ulster, NY. An intimate group of about 80 guests joined the newlyweds to celebrate. Since the wedding took place during the day, I wasn't sure if people would take to the dance floor, but boy was I wrong! This wedding group didn't care what time of day it was, they were happy and in the mood for dancing. 

The morning started with Urmi getting ready. She was full of giggles and had her bridesmaids and mother with her. I love that Urmi stayed true to herself and wore her glasses on her wedding day. She said that she wears them everyday and doesn't feel herself without them, she looked so stunning! A delicate tiara added the perfect touch to her ensemble. 

Urmi had a very emotional first look with her father. It was such a touching moment for everyone who witnessed it.

Aaron is a man of many ties, so I've heard. His tie collection is impressive, and he enjoys very much wearing them. This was not one of those grooms who has to YouTube how to tie a tie, or even how to fold a pocket square. In fact, he is so versed when it comes to dressing well, that he was giving his groomsmen lessons on how to fold the pocket square. I was very impressed to say the least.

As the two families came together at the church you could feel the joy exuding from them. To me, church weddings have a certain amount of solemness to them. It is a joyous occasion, yet very serious at the same time. What I loved about Aaron and Urmi's ceremony was that the priest added just enough humor to the ceremony to keep things lighthearted. 

Aaron and Urmi arrived to La Mirage in style. They were warmly welcomed in by all of their guests and took straight to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. 

The reception came to an end just before the sun went down. Urmi and Aaron said their goodbyes and made their way outside to the garden area of La Mirage where we took their portraits.

I first met Evie and Tejorn at their engagement session. From the very start I could see that these two had something really special. On their wedding day, their love for one another and for their families radiated ten times over. 

The day started with Tejorn getting ready with his groomsmen. I am not entirely sure how he felt but from the outside Tejorn seemed calm, cool and collected. I could tell that he was excited, and couldn't wait to see his beautiful bride. He kept things classy with a grey suit accented with a plum bow tie and pocket square.

Evie and her bridesmaids were getting ready nearby at a house. Her dress was a simple silhouette but had beautiful beading covering it in its entirety, she looked absolutely gorgeous in it.

Evie and her girls has a special surprise planned for the groom and groomsmen. The girls all pulled out Smirnoff Ice beers from behind their backs and "Iced" them all. Talk about an awesome wife! Tejorn stepped up to the challenge along with all of the other groomsmen and chugged his beer in style.

The ceremony was held in an outdoor courtyard at Anthony's Pier 9. A beautiful candle alter was setup for the bride and groom. The bride's brother officiated the ceremony while different family members and friends contributed throughout. By the time the ceremony ended is was completely dark out and the only light that was given off was from the candles. 

The reception was held in the ballroom at Anthony's Pier 9. Large chandeliers hung from the ceiling while delicate flower arrangements were set on each table. The newlyweds made a grand entrance as they rose out from the stage floor to join their wedding party.
