Annie and Danny married one another on the edge of a peaceful pond nestled in the woods. Their family and friends gathered around and celebrated with them into the evening. Both Annie and Danny were very easy going and lots of fun to be around. They opted to do a first look at the covered bridge, which worked out beautifully. Annie got ready with her bridesmaids and mother upstairs at the Ashoken Center. We started just in time to capture the last little bit of her getting ready. She looked stunning. Danny and his groomsmen were all getting ready in another structure at the center. Danny rocked some sweet tie-dye socks, a gift from his bride. For the couples first look the entire wedding was there to cheer them on. Annie made her way down the pathway, while the anticipation in Danny grew. It was worth the wait when he finally did get to turn around and see Annie. The ceremony was held on the edge of the pond, with geese swimming in the background. It was a beautiful ceremony and they literally "tied the knot". The reception was held indoors in a beautifully lit room. Potted herbs adorned each table. After dinner and cake the party moved to the dance floor, where the fun never stopped. This was the fasted hora I have ever witnessed. The band played it, and it was so impressive! The newlyweds did an awesome job keeping up. The bride's dad arranged for a surprise performance of the bag pipes. The bride and her father danced while Danny (and everyone else) cheered them on.
