Nicole & Kyle's End of the Summer Wedding, Candlewood Lake, CT

Nicole and Kyle married one another on the edge of Candlewood Lake, the largest lake in all of Connecticut. Nicole's family has a house on the lake, so it seemed like an obvious choice. The reception was held in the clubhouse, where guests danced the night away. Nicole and Kyle's wedding was super fun, I think mostly because this couple attracts adventure and good energy. There were young people hanging on the ceiling all the way to all the grandparents being out on the dance floor, everyone just seemed to be so happy and to be having such a good time.

Kyle and his groomsmen all got ready together in the downstairs area of the clubhouse. His brother was his best man, and Nicole's brothers made up most of the rest of the groomsmen. It was certainly a family affair and I could tell just how important family is to both Nicole and Kyle.

Nicole got ready in her parents house with her mom and bridesmaids. She was such a happy bride and the room lit up every time she smiled, it made photographing her so very easy. Nicole wore a beautiful dress with a scalloped train.

Kyle and Nicole decided to do a first look at the alter before guests arrived to the venue. After this emotional moment we took portraits near the water and out on the dock. It was a beautiful day for a wedding.
