Kiera, Josh and all of their friends and family love so hard! It was so amazing to see the love and support that these two received on their wedding day, and if they are receiving it I know they must be giving it out as well. I first photographed Kiera and Josh when they were at the wedding of one of their best friends, about three years ago. Kiera was a bridesmaid and Josh was her date. We were so very honored when Kiera reached out to us to document her and Josh's wedding day as well. I had a feeling it would be a high energy and super fun wedding, based on the wedding we did for their friends, and Kiera and Josh did not disappoint! The day started with Josh getting ready with his groomsmen. Both Kiera and Josh had a large group of close friends in their wedding party. Josh wore a well tailored navy suit, with the wedding date embroidered on the inside pocket. His Dad, Father-in-law and best man all helped him to get ready while his groomsmen kept him laughing. Kiera and her bridesmaids got ready in a beautiful house on the Farm Road Estate Property. The venue has a few different houses, beautiful green areas and multiple ponds. It was really the perfect place for a wedding. Kiera looked amazing! She was so happy on her wedding day and basically had a permanent smile on her face, which made photographing her so easy. She wore a fitted lace dress and a long veil. She really looked absolutely beautiful and it shows perfectly in the photos. The ceremony was held on the edge of one of the natural ponds. Harrison, the friend whose wedding we photographed three years ago, was the officiant. He wrote a beautiful and very personal ceremony specifically for Kiera and Josh. I recall overhearing just how good everyone thought it was afterwards as the guests mingled at cocktail hour. The friends and family at Kiera and Josh's wedding did not shy away from dancing. I remember laughing to myself, because before the couple entered, the MC was explaining to the bridal party how the couple would invite everyone to join them on the dance floor after their first dance, and he said, make sure you join them! As if the couple would be left there inviting people and no one would join. It was exactly the opposite. Everyone rushed to get onto that dance floor and celebrate with the newlyweds, it was so packed with dancers I was almost unable to get in-between people to take photos. Just one of the ways that everyone showed their love for Kiera and Josh that day! A shoutout to the bride's sister, pictured below. Kiera's sister might just be Josh and Kiera's biggest fan. I didn't notice it on the wedding day, but going through these photos as I edited them I saw just how much support Kiera's sister showed them. You can scroll back through the photos and see for yourself, she is often in the background of the image cheering as loud as she can and throwing her hands up in the air out of excitement for the love these two have together. I have two sisters and love them dearly, and I think the sisterly bond is such a special one. Kiera and her sister clearly are close and I just wanted to point out what a beautiful thing that is!
